Housing disrepair complaints in an Acis Group property

Acis Group have a duty to carry out most repairs on their properties. What should I do if my Acis Group home needs a repair?

Disrepair can start off minor and escalate, sometimes posing a health and safety risk if not fixed soon enough. For that reason, any necessary repairs should be requested from the housing association as soon as a problem is identified.

How long will it take for Acis Group to make repairs?

Acis Group aim to carry out emergency repairs within 4 hours. Sometimes this will be a temporary fix to make the property safe again, and an appointment may be made to carry out further work to prevent the issue from reoccurring.  All non-urgent work will be booked in with a contractor, who will come at an agreed time. If the repairs are not made within a reasonable timeframe, or if a delay causes the disrepair to get worse, then you could consider making a claim against the housing association for both compensation and the repair itself.
