Location: Liverpool City Centre
Job Type: Permanent, 35 hours per week
Salary: £30k – £45k



  • Develop a thorough understanding of the businesses’ products and services
  • See the bigger picture and set aims and objectives in order to further develop the pipeline of work
  • Carry out any necessary planning
  • Manage relationships with existing referrers and develop new ones
  • Follow up all new business opportunities / act as key account manager for all external relationships
  • Liaise with all suppliers on new and existing cases, providing feedback for training and quality purposes
  • Progress business development opportunities including but not limited to: award entries, accreditations / kitemarks, panel applications etc.
  • Support the senior management team in promotional activity e.g. outreach work including but not limited to educational providers, charities etc.
  • Advise on and work with the broader marketing team on collateral to support business development activity
  • Deputise for the Head of Marketing and Business Development

Essential requirements:

  • Ability to review and challenge.
  • Strong experience of developing new business and relationship management.
  • Self-motivated.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Clear, concise, and articulate with an ability to be influential when required.
