Digital Advertising & Marketing Executive - CEL Solicitors

We are looking for a Digital Advertising & Marketing Executive that has experience of setting up, monitoring and tracking successful paid search and paid social campaigns.

With a couple of years’ experience under your belt you’ll have a portfolio of campaigns that have resulted in conversions where you have been able to demonstrate an impressive return on investment.

Having learnt the principles of digital advertising we want this to be where you really earn your stripes by growing a digital advertising budget from scratch. Over time an initial budget of up to £5k per month could rise exponentially.

As the budget increases, so too will your standing within the company, giving rise to increased pay and seniority (which will also be supported by professional development as and when new platforms and technologies become available that you’ll want to train in).

As we’re not a traditional law firm you’ll have the freedom to create dynamic campaigns. Whether you need to take five on our ‘think swing’, consult a colleague over a game of pool in one of our break-out areas or call a team to the amphitheatre for a brainstorm – we’re all committed to your success.

Reporting to the Marketing Director, you will be responsible for a range of duties, including, but not limited:

  • Conduct keyword research and put forward proposals for paid search campaigns to be approved by the Marketing Director
  • Build custom and target audiences, based on client data, for paid social as directed by the Marketing Director
  • Set up a range of high-quality campaigns, by service area, with support from the Marketing Director (content) and web developer / graphic designer (imagery)
  • Ensure all content and imagery reflects a professional service and is consistent across all platforms
  • Ensure all paid campaigns are fully optimised, competitive and trackable (adding Google tags / Facebook pixels) to website / landing pages
  • Manage the budget, approved by the Marketing Director, and provide weekly and monthly reports, making recommendations where appropriate
  • Take what you learn from conversions from paid adverting campaigns and create web and social media content to generate more organic search
  • Schedule these web and social media updates / posts (that can also be boosted via Facebook)
  •  Keep up to date with trends in the market, and competitor behaviour


  • Professional accreditations (FacebookBlueprint Certification, Google Ads certification and Microsoft Advertising Certified Professional certification)
  • Commercial acumen – ability to demonstrate ROI on budgets and paid spend
  • B2C experience, either in-house or agency
  • Excellent content and proof-reading skills, with an eye for detail


At least 2 years’ hands on experience managing paid search / paid social


The salary bracket for this position is £25k to £35k depending on experience. Pay will be reviewed annually with increases based on performance and reflecting continued professional development. Our aim is to find the right candidate to be with us on our journey for years to come.
