Joshua joined the CEL team in the late summer of 2018 after two and half years as a costs paralegal at Hampson Hughes Solicitors. In his previous role, he was responsible for negotiating legal costs on claims including occupiers’ liability, road traffic accidents and serious injury.
A graduate of Law from the University of Chester and with a post graduate diploma in Law from the University of Law in Chester, Josh is now undertaking his training to become a solicitor. Currently, he manages housing disrepair and Japanese knotweed cases on behalf of CEL clients.
Joshua has had great success in negotiating some fantastic settlements for his clients, which includes property repairs to a high standard and very reasonable compensation terms. He takes great pleasure in supporting clients to move forward with their lives and get the repairs and remuneration they deserve.
His USP is his client service. He was awarded ‘King of Clients’ at the last CEL Christmas awards. He states this because he every client as if they were a member of his family.
In his spare time, Josh loves anything outdoors – walks, treks, visiting heritage sites, exercise. He says, “there aren’t many things better than going on a long walk in the countryside and then ending up at a nice local pub and treating yourself to a well-earned drink.”
