Mark is a qualified solicitor with over 12 years’ experience in litigation and dispute resolution. He was previously the head of the civil litigation department at a top Liverpool law firm before joining the CEL team in November 2019.
He graduated from the University of Leeds with a 2:1 before completing his Diploma in Law and LPC. In his time working in the legal field, he has gained a strong history of success achieving significant awards of damages and compensation for his clients, with his current focus being on compensation claims for victims of data protection breaches and people who have suffered loss as a result of Japanese knotweed infestations at their home.
When first working in the legal field, Mark dealt with personal injury claims and specialised in serious accidents abroad. With a proven record in achieving 6-figure settlements on behalf of his clients and frequent feedback commending his attention to detail whilst dealing with highly complex cases; Mark is a specialist in his field with the client at the heart of his work.
Recently, he has specialised in nuisance claims incurred by Japanese knotweed and is now respected as one of the county’s leading litigators in this field.
At CEL, he is responsible for managing the data breach and Japanese knotweed departments; advising them on their claims and directing the team to support their clients and achieve their targets.
