Rachael has 8 years’ experience in civil litigation dealing mainly with personal injury, clinical negligence and group litigation cases. She began her legal career in first response, progressing up the ranks before qualifying as a solicitor in February 2019. Rachael joined the CEL team in early 2020 as a solicitor supporting with claims in housing disrepair. In her career, she has assisted on small claims in RTA to large and complex multi-track claims in clinical negligence. She has also worked in group litigation for several high profile claims including the VW emission scandal and the 2015 Brumadinho dam disaster.
Rachael graduated from Bangor University with a degree in Law in 2010 before gaining her LPC from the University of Law.
She states her biggest achievement since joining CEL has been working as one team to reach our target for settled files three months in a row.
Outside of work, Rachael enjoys weightlifting and yoga. She describes herself a movie nerd; knowing the most useless facts about movies and actors (making her very useful in a quiz). She is an avid reader but is yet to count her book collection – ignorance is bliss.
