Thomas Lowrey - CEL Solicitors

Thomas joined the CEL team in early 2020 as a business development manager. With a level 3 qualification from the Institute of Leadership and Management, Thomas spent 8 years in property litigation at a local law firm before joining a global technology firm in a business development role across UK and US markets. With over 10 years’ experience working within business development and client relationship management in the legal sector, Thomas leads on driving business growth for CEL. His main focus is generating new work, helping departments grow and ensuring a sufficient pipeline of work so that targets can be achieved.

He analyses our lead generation processes to build data and intelligence to help understand our clients and where they’re based to influence future campaigns. He also manages client feedback; gathering testimonials and logging client responses to grow and improve the business. His role works across all practice areas, supporting on marketing, mentoring staff and overseeing client satisfaction and customer service.

With a commercial mind set and proven track record of scaling up businesses while maintaining strong working relationships with stakeholders, Tom is the perfect candidate for our business development efforts. His ultimate goal is to grow the business to be the largest civil litigation firm in the country whilst still maintaining the company’s ‘people before profits’ principle.

His biggest working achievement is starting a client base from scratch and turning it into a multi-million pound portfolio.  Having previously raised money for mental health charities through running the London Marathon, he is proud to work for a company with a ‘your health is your wealth’ ethos and a proactive approach to mental health and maintaining a work/life balance.

In his spare time, Tom enjoys watching the boxing and has even met his sporting hero, Mike Tyson, in Las Vegas.
