Gavin started with CEL Solicitors in May 2020 and has progressed to become the firm’s Repairs Team Leader, where he handles breach of contract claims for housing disrepair cases. With a Law and Spanish and Spanish Law degree from the University of Nottingham – including a year studying law abroad at the Universidad Complutense de Madrid – Gavin is a fluent Spanish speaker. Alongside his work as a team leader with CEL Solicitors, he is currently working on his LPC and Masters, with an upcoming training contract with the firm due in 2023.
Gavin is proud of genuinely being able to make a difference to people’s lives through his work, ensuring that housing repair agreements by landlords are maintained and sufficiently completed. He is driven by a passion to make sure his clients live in well-maintained homes.
A keen footballer who previously played for Blackburn Rovers and Blackpool FC, he was the captain of the Liverpool Schoolboys, and still plays football three times a week.
