We welcomed Gospel Choir, The Twelfth Collective into the firm as our first musical guest to perform a live set to our team.
At CEL Solicitors, we take great pleasure in welcoming keynote speakers as part of our ‘CEL Talk’ series. From activists and athletes to authors and comedians, we like to diversify our guests so that we can gain a variety of fresh perspectives. A gospel choir, however, is a first.
The Twelfth Collective
The Twelfth Collective are a gospel choir with the mission of spreading the love of God through various creative outlets as an act of worship.
With our staff gathered in the amphitheatre, the group recounted the story of how they came to be and their shared passion for worship. They then engaged our team with an icebreaker task which provided a great opportunity for staff to become acquainted as our workforce has quickly increased.
The Twelfth Collective performed an intimate set of worship songs and even sang a special rendition of the firm’s jingle ‘CEL CEL, ring the bell’ (this made for a brilliant TikTok which you can watch here).
Before departing, the band got our staff out of their seats and turned the firm into a mass choir, assigning singing roles based on vocal range.
