CEL Solicitors has launched its first TV campaign, aimed at helping social housing tenants fight for the safe and well-maintained homes they deserve.
The advert, currently airing on ITV, features Michael, Izabella and Mabel, who all submitted housing disrepair claims with CEL Solicitors.
John Lowry, a director and head of housing disrepair at CEL Solicitors, said: “At CEL Solicitors, we truly believe that everybody deserves the right to live in a safe and well-maintained home. Unfortunately, some landlords, including those run by council authorities and housing associations, fail to make much-needed repairs to properties, leaving tenants stuck living in poor conditions.
“If you’re a tenant, with a home in urgent need of repair, then we will help you fight for repairs, ensuring your home is fit for habitation. Whether you are suffering because of structural damage, active leaks, damp and mould, damaged gutters and drains, a broken heating system, insect or vermin infestations, or any number of other items of disrepair, if it is your landlord’s responsibility, then they are obliged to carry out repairs within a reasonable timeframe.
“If you have requested repairs to your home and have waited more than three months, without action from your landlord, then speak with a member of our team. We operate on a no-win, no-fee basis, which means that we don’t take a penny unless you win, and you have nothing to pay upfront. Our dedicated housing disrepair team are also on hand to offer free initial support and advice”.
Alongside housing disrepair claims, CEL Solicitors also specialise in fraud and scam claims, data breach claims, car finance claims, doorstep loan claims, Japanese knotweed claims, land boundary disputes and flooding claims.
