Tony joined CEL in 2023 as Director and Head of Commercial Litigation & Dispute Resolution. He has over 30 years of experience working for major commercial practices (including Hill Dickinson, DAC Beachcroft), and has spent much of that time at the senior management level.
Throughout his career, Tony has worked both for Claimants and Defendants across the full spectrum of commercial litigation and professional negligence, including many very high-value cases. He has worked both for and against business entities, shareholders, construction bodies and all manner of professional interests, including solicitors, accountants, surveyors, brokers, and construction consultants.
Alongside his passion for business strategy, Tony has always been keen to continue as a fully engaged fee earner. With his team, Tony’s job involves helping to reinforce and develop the firm’s commercial litigation and professional negligence services at a time when those areas of law are becoming ever more significant.
Outside of work, Tony is an avid Everton fan and season ticket holder who loves spending time with a cryptic crossword.
